It’s hard to walk around New York City—and presumably, anywhere else where people have radios—this holiday season and not hear some of Mike Will’s drums slipping out of a passing car. On Christmas Eve, Will is gifting fans with the third edition of his Est. in 1989 mixtape series, set to include “The Turn Up,” a crushing single for Trinidad James, who uses the opportunity to woooh!, moan and yowl instructions for getting fucked up like he’s reading the back of an ibuprofen bottle. A radio rip of the track, first played on last week’s edition of East Village Radio’s Ballers Eve, has made the rounds, but you can download the high-quality audio below. For more on Trinidad James and his short, high-octane appearance in New York last week, read Sam Hockley-Smith’s live review.
