Pittsburgh CA artist Dubb 20 from The Jacka‘s The Artist Records is getting set to release his new mixtape ’20 Minutes’, volume 5 of the ‘GSlaps Radio’ mixtape series hosted by DJ Thats My Jam. The first leak is titled “Champion” which features Dallas rapper Lil Pooh and is composed by Bay Area producer Young Blood. The Mob affiliated artist’s release is scheduled for October 7th.

A few months ago Percy  Keith gave the world a little taste of what’s to come when he released the “Stories II” video and today he drops his album/mixtape Crazy On The Outside in collaboration with DGB. The project also includes 2 feature from fellow Bread Winner Kevin Gates.

Representing San Jose, City Shawn releases his new project EAST today for free download. With Bay Area factors Thizzler On The Roof, DreemTeem, Breezy Excursion, Redwall Studio and more behind the album, the streets have been humming with anticipation for City’s follow up to 2013’s Forever, which was hosted by Bay legend Traxamillion. Produced, mixed and mastered entirely by DreemTeem’s Cortez, EAST is a departure from the dark, trap heavy sound of Forever, and instead features for the most part a sample heavy “player vibe” that is sure to make you nod your head.

“All I want to accomplish with EAST is to show people you can just be you and it will work,” says City, “There’s many sides to every person, and EAST is just one side of me. The reason EAST is so different from Forever is because they’re two different albums and I was at two different stages in my life while I was making them. Forever 2 is next though!” Shouting out #SanJoseVsEverybody, City Shawn is determined to put San Jose on the map – and EAST is only the beginning.
